2013 has been a year of controversies in music, with headlines dominated by good girl gone (crazy) bad, Miley Cyrus. As well as the twerking and foam finger rubbing, we’ve seen her lick hammers for Terry Richardson (a man accused of sexually assaulting his models) and grinding up on Robin Thicke – (who’s ‘Blurred Lines’ lyrics suggest misogyny and rape).
